Nestle Factory Being Built in Vietnam
Still looking for a job? You might want to consider moving to Vietnam before the end of the year. Nestle is planning on building a projected $270 million coffee factory in Dong Nai province (southeast Vietnam), which plans to be fully operational by 2013. With the latest process technology, Nestle plans on creating 200 new jobs and estimates partnering with 20,000 Vietnamese coffee farmer households within the next 5 years. Nestle currently has four factories in Vietnam employing more than 1,500 people nationwide. Seems like big things on the horizon for Vietnam; I'm sure there's much more to come. In the mean time, if you're among the millions unemployed having a hard time landing a job, or even looking for a career change, moving to Vietnam might not be such a bad idea. And, if you can't land a job at the factory, I would seriously look into farming coffee.
